Loftia Scrambled Coordinates: Ryder’s quest and drops

How do you get Scrambled Coordinates?

Reach Ryder’s Adventure Awaits quest, then gather and salvage resources around Loftia City until you have the three it asks for. Return to Ryder with the requested items and continue through his introductory Adventure; collecting them is one part of the quest.

The glider storyline goes through Cliff and Milo to Ryder at the Adventure Dock. Follow the objective currently in your quest log as you move between those characters. The resident directory can help you recognize their names and roles.

Which gathering spots should you try?

Treat the spots below as chances to receive a coordinate, not guaranteed drops or fixed treasure locations. A loop through different resources also gathers crafting materials while you work toward Ryder’s objective.

Why might coordinates be missing?

First check that Ryder’s coordinate objective is active, then keep gathering across multiple spots. Patch #1 increased the drop chance during that quest step and clarified the location guidance. One unsuccessful harvest does not mean the quest is broken.

Use the objective’s item count to check progress. If the instruction says to show the coordinates to the Adventurer, that is Ryder. Return to him instead of searching for a second character with that title.

Can the Daily Goodies Chest help with the first three?

The rule is that Bloom and Scrambled Coordinates appear in the Daily Goodies Chest after completing Ryder’s introductory Adventure. Finish that introduction before relying on chest coordinates. A chest reward later in your progression is a different source from gathering the coordinates that begin the quest.

Later coordinates also come from the quest reward and Cella’s Key Shop. For the opening objective, gathering is the straightforward route and avoids depending on a shop you may not have reached yet.

What should you do after the introduction?

Keep coordinates available for later outings and check the entry requirement of the Adventure you want to start. The Adventures overview explains the activity and the research islands it reaches. Arrange a shared server with friends before planning a group session.
