Loftia farming: planting and shared farms
Find the Demo planting prompt and compare Loftia’s personal growing, public City beds, hydroponics and community farming activities.
How did the Demo introduce planting?
The planting tutorial used the Tool Wheel. Open it when the planting objective appears, then follow the seed and planting prompts. The beginner guide covers the documented carrot-seed prompt.
Hazel is introduced as the Seed Shop Owner in our character directory. Look for Hazel when getting to know the city’s residents.
Which farming systems are announced?
| System | Where it fits | October status |
|---|---|---|
| Personal growing | Your own island and everyday activities | Introduced in the Demo |
| Public City garden beds | Shared beds in Loftia City | Removed in Demo patch #2 |
| Trellises and Hydroponics Stations | More advanced growing | Announced for Early Access |
| Community farms | Shared activity with fast-growing crops and leaderboards | Announced for Early Access |
The public beds were removed because their shared nature needed clearer explanation. Their absence in a later Demo build was an intentional change; see the patch record.
What should you expect from hydroponics?
The Early Access overview presents Hydroponics Stations as part of expanded farming progression. Community farms offer fast-growing crops and friendly leaderboards, with what you grow helping support Loftia’s people.
For the surrounding systems, read salvaging and energy and housing. The Demo comparison shows which additions belong to Early Access.
