Can Loftia players connect across platforms?

The official FAQ describes cross-play as a goal under research and testing. When organizing a group, agree on your platform plans before buying copies.

Loftia is offered for PC and Mac through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Read Where to buy Loftia: stores and platforms alongside the buying guide when choosing where to purchase.

Do friends need the same server?

Yes. Only players on the same server can play together. You are not locked to one server, so you can join friends. If you are both online but cannot see each other, compare the server information displayed in your games first.

Agree on a server before setting out on an Adventure or spending time together on a home island. Shared World Projects give the wider community goals to work on together.

What about Nintendo Switch?

Nintendo Switch is planned for 2027. Loftia requires an online connection, and online Switch play needs a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Dates can change — check the official FAQ for the current platform schedule and requirements.

Can you play solo while friends are away?

Yes. Playing alone does not block progression, and solo players can enjoy almost all content. You still need to be online. The multiplayer guide covers solo play and arranging a group session; the launch checklist helps you prepare your hardware and account.
