Loftia controller and Steam Deck support
Read Loftia’s controller and Steam Deck support details, compare the Steam label, and prepare movement, tools and decorating inputs.
Which inputs does Loftia support?
The official FAQ says Loftia is fully playable with a controller or gamepad, as well as keyboard and mouse, and supports Steam Deck. The Steam store page lists Partial Controller Support.
Use the action names and bindings in your current settings when switching devices. A keyboard shortcut in a guide may describe the same action through a different controller prompt.
What should you try before starting?
- Check movement, camera control and interaction.
- Open the tool selection interface and select the action you need.
- Try menu navigation and a simple decorating placement, including rotation and paint selection.
For the October Demo’s planting task, open the Tool Wheel when prompted. The beginner guide explains that tutorial.
How should you prepare for Steam Deck play?
Review Steam’s current compatibility information and your preferred input settings before starting. Loftia requires an internet connection even for solo play. For a desktop or laptop, compare the Windows and Mac requirements.
What if a controller action does not work?
Record the device, action name and build. Controller rebinding and a paint-selection conflict were addressed during the October Demo; see the Demo fixes archive for the changes.
For purchase preparation, use the launch checklist.
