Loftia energy: batteries and renewable power
Compare Loftia’s renewable energy sources, learn how batteries fit into crafting, and read about the October Demo’s solar generation changes.
Which energy sources are announced?
| Source | Published status |
|---|---|
| Solar | Present in the October Demo |

These renewable sources charge batteries for your island’s activities.
Does solar generate during rain or at night?
The October Demo patch #1 increased solar generation in rain and at night, especially when both conditions occurred together. The Demo patch record also notes a later correction to solar and weather information on some islands.
That gives a useful historical answer to the question: nighttime and rain were not described as a universal zero-output condition in that Demo update.
Where does salvaging fit in?
Salvaging provides resources for the material side of crafting. The developer identifies Gridfall as the salvaging district; see the district overview.
A crafting project’s materials and its power requirement are separate checks. Read both on the current recipe or station before gathering another batch of the same resource. For island space shared with your stations, see housing.
