Loftia multiplayer, solo play and server basics
Plan solo or group play in Loftia, understand its internet and server requirements, and arrange a session with friends on the same server.
Can you play alone?
Yes. The developer says playing alone will not block progression and that solo players can enjoy almost all content. You can work on farming, crafting and your home island at your own pace.
Some activities are designed around a group or the community, including Adventures and World Projects.
Is there an offline mode?
No. The official FAQ requires an internet connection on every platform, including when you choose to play solo.
How do you meet friends?
Players must be on the same server. The FAQ also says you are not permanently locked to one server, so you can move to join friends.
If you are both online but cannot see each other, compare the server information shown in each game first.
Can friends play across platforms?
Qloud describes cross-play as a goal under research and testing. Read the cross-play guide when planning a group across platforms.
Review the buying guide when preparing your group’s purchase plans.
