Choose an activity for your next session

Loftia combines farming, crafting, decorating and exploration in a shared online world. You can make progress alone or spend time with friends. Start with an activity you enjoy, then let the main questline introduce more of the city and its surrounding districts.

The October Demo introduced growing crops, salvaging, decorating and social play in Loftia City. The Early Access overview adds fishing, pets, deeper proficiencies and more ways to explore. Returning players can review Demo progress and account linking before continuing their journey.

Crafting

Gathering and salvaging provide resources for making tools. Crafting is part of everyday island life alongside farming and decorating. Before collecting a large batch of materials, read the recipe or station you want to use and make a short list of what your next project needs.

Renewable energy connects your island’s material projects with Loftia’s sustainable setting. The Steam description pairs tool crafting with energy from the sun, wind and rain. Batteries store power from renewable sources; the energy guide compares the announced options and explains the October Demo’s solar changes.

Gridfall is the salvaging district, built from scraps on the remains of the old world. Its towers, rails and underground spaces make it a natural destination for players interested in resources and exploration. Milo, the Repair Specialist, is one of the residents to recognize as you get to know Loftia’s people.

Early Access also extends proficiencies beyond the Demo’s Level 5 cap. Crafting, Farming, Cooking and Fishing are among the activities where you develop proficiency and choose Perks. Focus on the activities you enjoy when deciding where to invest your points.

Fishing

The Collector Rod collects fish safely from Loftia’s waterways for study and repopulation. Fishing is an Early Access addition, and the Hanging Gardens brings peaceful fishing spots alongside community farms and a mysterious forest.

Look for Kassim, introduced as a biodiversity researcher and fishing expert. His portrait and occupation appear in the resident directory, which can help you recognize the name when it comes up in dialogue.

Fishing fits Loftia’s wider theme of learning about living things. Research Stations accept local flora and fauna for community study. If you like exploring a district slowly, combine time by the water with getting to know its plants, animals and scenery. Read the district and research overview to compare nature research with searching for old-world Artifacts.

Pets

Pets join your travels as companions. Qloud describes adopting them, taking care of them, petting them, dressing them up and growing your friendship. Capybaras and turtles are among the animals in the Steam game overview.

Pets are introduced as an Early Access addition beyond the October Demo. Alongside caring for a companion, you can explore the expanded decorative and character customization options that arrive as you progress deeper into Loftia.

Pet accessories and styles also appear among the Backer Boutique’s optional cosmetics. The shop’s items affect appearance, and the Community Pass offers additional cosmetic rewards from World Projects. Read an item’s included contents before buying and use the buying guide to understand how optional purchases fit alongside the base game.

Bring these activities back to your island

Keep the paths to your growing and crafting areas clear, and leave space for furniture as your home develops. Your island can connect with others in a neighborhood, giving friends a place to gather between outings. Use housing and neighborhoods to plan that shared space, or choose an Adventure when you want a group challenge away from home.
