What does the base purchase cover?

Loftia is a paid online game with no recurring game subscription. The official FAQ lists Windows PC and Mac through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Nintendo Switch is planned for 2027; dates can change, so check the official FAQ for the current platform schedule.

Check system requirements first, particularly the Apple Silicon requirement on Mac. The separate Steam Demo app does not grant ownership of the paid game; see Demo and Early Access.

How much is the announced launch offer?

Offer Announced US price
Base game $29.99
Limited launch discount 17% off, $24.89

Prices and dates can change — check the official Steam store page for current info.

Regional pricing applies. Your local storefront determines the currency, active discount and checkout total. In Steam’s Early Access information, Qloud says it may consider raising the price closer to the 1.0 release, depending on the game’s quality, content and features.

What purchases are optional?

Loftia’s microtransactions and season pass are cosmetic-only. Qloud describes its monetization as free of predatory tactics and gacha mechanics. The Early Access overview explains the Backer Boutique and Community Pass:

  • Backer Boutique: optional outfits, furniture, pet accessories, pet styles and visual effects. These purchases do not affect gameplay.
  • Community Pass: additional cosmetic rewards from World Projects, alongside rewards available to all players. Pass rewards do not expire after the project ends, so you can return to unlock them later.

The FAQ says there are no planned paid expansions: new content during Early Access and beyond is intended to be free for game owners. There is no Loftia subscription, though platform services can have their own membership requirements, such as Nintendo Switch Online for online Switch play.

Read the item’s included contents before paying. Our World Project guide explains shared contributions and cosmetic reward tracks.
