Where does the City chapter end?

The City chapter ends at the Airtram Station, on Meet Cliff at the Airtram Station — the last stop before the Hanging Gardens. Opening steps are in the beginner guide.

What is the main quest order in Loftia City?

Order Quest Who drives it What it opens
1 A Fresh Start Pebble, then Milo Salvaging, Project Station, your island, the Hammer
2 Meet Hazel Pebble, Hazel Seed shop and your first garden bed
3 The First Sprout Hazel, Amani Harvesting, Shipping Bin, Building Permit
4 City Tour Pebble Estella’s and Linda’s shops, the Airtram Station
5 Permission to Glide Cliff, Milo Refining Station and the Glider build
6 Adventure Awaits! Ryder Adventure Dock
7 Meet Ryder Ryder —
8 Certified Flying Loftian Cliff Clearance to travel
9 Meet Cliff by the Dome Cliff —
10 Meet Cliff at the Airtram Station Cliff End of the City chapter

A Fresh Start ends with a Project Station on your plot. The First Sprout has you plant, harvest, ship, then buy a permit so you can place more beds.

What does A Fresh Start give you?

Headphones, two basic floor lamps for the house, and a Memory. The completion screen adds “A Fresh Start” to the Loftia City memory collection.

Which side quests are in Loftia City?

Linda and Pebble each have a short chain in the city. Milo has a city quest too, but it opens once the story reaches the Gardens.

Resident Chain What the chain unlocks
Linda First Stitch → A Thread of Inspiration → Our First Collection → Project Runway Tailoring Station, Linda’s shop stock, emotes
Pebble The Extremely Secret Surprise → Let the Pebblethon Begin → Bonk → Bounce Adventure Shoes, vending machine, emotes
Milo It’s On the House First Bloom tier, after A Call From the Gardens

Estella, Amani, Kun and Jun also have side quests in the city: decoration chains from Estella, community work from Amani, and cooking from Kun and Jun, who share one quest.

What does Linda’s chain reward?

Linda’s four quests follow one another. Project Runway also waits on Pebble’s Let the Pebblethon Begin. Clothing made at the Tailoring Station costs materials rather than Dews, and the elaborate sets also list Bloom; the tailoring guide breaks the two tiers down.

Quest What you do Reward
First Stitch Build a Tailoring Station, craft any clothing, report back Cotton and cotton seeds
A Thread of Inspiration — Adventure Shirt, cotton fabric, mushroom leather
Our First Collection Craft five different outfits Adventure Shorts
Project Runway Dress up, wave from the city bandstand, let Linda see X-Step emote

First Stitch also opens the first tier of Linda’s Fashion Shop. Later story quests open the rest of the catalogue. See the customization guide.

What does Pebble’s chain reward?

The first quest has you dress up in the Customization Menu. The next three ask you to emote, bonk or play a ball game with another player. Rewards are emotes, plus Adventure Shoes and a vending machine.

Quest What you do Reward
The Extremely Secret Surprise Dress up in the Customization Menu, then talk to Pebble Adventure Shoes, vending machine for your island
Let the Pebblethon Begin Play a friendly emote in front of another player Heart Sign emote
Pebblethon: The Bonk Challenge Bonk another player Running Loftian emote
Pebblethon: The Bounce Challenge Play “Don’t Drop the Ball” with another player Piggy Beanie, The Alf emote

The chain also unlocks Cozy Corners, an Estella decoration quest, and Project Runway from Linda. Cozy Corners also waits on Estella’s own Home Sweet Home. The emote steps need another player nearby. Loftia is online-only, so join a shared server.

When does Milo’s shop quest open?

It’s On the House opens the first stock tier at Milo’s Renovation Shop: walls, arches and beams, priced in Bloom. It requires A Call From the Gardens, so those parts are not for sale until you finish it. Island decorations are a later tier and also need Everything Is Connected.

Bloom itself arrives later than Dews; the make money guide explains where it comes from. For the parts themselves, see housing.

Which objectives are not quests?

World Projects and Adventures both show up in the quest log, and they work differently. A World Project is a server-wide contribution goal; the first one builds Pebble’s birthday party. An Adventure is a repeatable group run from Ryder’s dock. Repeating one costs Scrambled Coordinates.

The World Projects guide covers contribution and rewards, and Adventures covers the outings. For where the coordinates come from, read Scrambled Coordinates.

What happens to the story in Early Access?

A Call From the Gardens is the next quest. It requires Certified Flying Loftian and sends you into the Hanging Gardens, so the Gardens are a story gate rather than a separate purchase. Pets unlock free as the story progresses (Steam thread), and Gridfall follows in the same storyline. Qloud describes the build as four chapters across Loftia City, the Hanging Gardens and Gridfall.

Later quests, including Everything Is Connected and Mending What’s Broken, gate more shop stock. Check Early Access for what is live.
